Well done to all the children who have won a certificate in the last commendation assembly of the year.

You have all worked very hard this year. Keep it up in your new classes!

Throughout the year all the children at Werrington Primary have been taking part in a spelling challenge with local schools.

Each term the results from a spelling test were collated and then the results checked to find the best spellers out of the 7 schools taking part.

As you can see by the photos, this term we have had lots of winners and in some year groups even managed to get the bronze, silver and gold certificates!

We have also had lots of children recognised for their progress over the year in the tests.

Well done!

Great work done by Art club on Friday morning.

During the morning, pupils from Year 5 and 6 created bright flowers to be placed in Werrington Library.

Ms Hulme from Moorside came in to introduce the task and Art club created some fabulous designs.
