Digital Parents Week 26th-30th October24-10-2020 | 09:20:37 | Comments Off on Digital Parents Week 26th-30th October

We have joined forces with Parent to celebrate the hard work that parents put in to support their children’s learning during lockdown.

We know that parents found it tough to suddenly add ‘teacher’ to the many other skills and jobs that they had to juggle during the months of lockdown and we want to say thank you.

Thank you for home schooling. Thank you for your patience while we were figuring things out as a school. Thank you for juggling so many tasks over so many months. Thank you for helping us reopen safely and for preparing your children for their return to school.

Our pupils have been working hard creating a personal thank you to take home to you. Here are some examples from Nursery-Y6.

The Little Yellow Digger that saved Christmas02-10-2020 | 15:22:41 | Comments Off on The Little Yellow Digger that saved Christmas

Year 2 and our morning Nursery pupils were delighted to welcome

Today our Year 2 pupils and then our morning nursery group were delighted to meet Mr Wroe, a published author who came in to school to share his book with us.

Mr Wroe is a parent to two boys at Werrington and his book entitled ‘The Little Yellow Digger that saved Christmas’ is already an Amazon Bestseller.

Caius and Roman were particularly excited to have their Dad in school to share the book with their friends.

Mr Wroe is a self-published author and all of the proceeds from the sale of the book are going to Children’s charities.

If you would like to purchase a copy of the book, it can be found here:

We would like to thank Mr Wroe for taking the time to come in and share his book with us – Christmas is only 12 weeks away so the perfect time to start your Christmas shopping!
