Welcome to the Y6 Home Learning Page. In addition to the ideas and activities that are being shared with you on our school website, Class Dojo, Facebook and Twitter, we would like to use this page as a place to share our more ‘structured’ resources, particularly as we look to broaden our curriculum coverage and introduce new concepts.

This also means that we are now aligned with the BBC Bitesize Daily activities that you can find at https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/dailylessons or by using the red button on your television. 

Please be aware that White Rose Maths worksheets will only be available in our Google Classroom.

As of Monday 4th May, we will be fully alligned with the White Rose Maths scheme (https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-6/) and so our maths will continue from Summer Term – Week 3 (w/c 4th May). This also means that we are now aligned with the BBC Bitesize Daily activities that you can find at https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/dailylessons or by using the red button on your television.

To begin with, the activities (and answers) will be available both on the White Rose Y6 Home Learning webpage or in our Google Classroom.

However, please be aware that, from Monday 11th May the White Rose Maths worksheets will only be available in our Google Classroom.

The vast majority of our maths lessons will begin with a White Rose Maths video (https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-6/) followed by some White Rose maths questions and either a workbook or SATs Companion task. There is no expectation to print off the White Rose Maths questions (but feel free to do so if you wish) and working outs and answers can be recorded into the blue exercise books we sent home prior to school closure. Answers for all White Rose Maths questions will be provided.
